Kilanas crush BAB in nine-goal thriller

FANS witnessed one of the most exciting match of the DST Group Brunei Premier League II (BPL II) last night as Banks Association of Brunei (BAB) levelled after three goals down, only for Kilanas FC to rally back to win 6-3 at the Balapan Track and Field in Berakas.
Awg Sidik Tya, coach of Kilanas was relieved with the win, "I have to admit my heart was beating when they equalised. I'm glad that we managed to get our act together to win."
Striker Zulhilmy Abd Majid scored for Kilanas in the first minute of the match with a strike that beat BAB goalkeeper Md Nazib Nasrudin near post.
BAB defender Amir Emashukry Hj Sulaiman conceded an own goal when he headed the ball over Md Nazib, who went off his line to catch the ball, and watched the ball bounce into the net in the fourth minute.
On 19th, Al Md Sukri (Correction: Ak Md Shukri) easily defeated Md Nazib in a one-on-one situation to give Kilanas a three goal lead.
BAB got their first goal of the night courtesy of Ak Md Khairol Anwar Pg Hj Salleh, heading the ball over Kilanas goalkeeper Md Fadillah Kamis to make it 3-1 in the 22nd.
Though BAB were forced into defensive play for the remaining period, it was them who scored in the final minute of the half.
Striker Md Adiman Yaakub ran down the right and had a shot goalwards which should have been a comfortable save for Md Fadillah. However the goalkeeper let the ball went under him to gift BAB their second goal of the night.
BAB were looking more spirited in the second half, and got their equaliser when Md Yusuf Tuah played in Md Adiman Yaakub who took a shot that deflected off Kilanas defender Md Faisal Hashim into the net to level the score at 3-3 in the 61st minute.
However, BAB's joy was shortlived as Kilanas got the lead back just four minutes later when Md Razi delivered a corner kick that captain Md Alikhan Hj Md Yakob scored with a powerful header. (Correction: Lihan Kah Kurmin??)
The fifth goal for Kilanas came in the 70th minute when Md Razi struck a powerful shot from the left at a tight angle that beat Md Nazib but not the far post. The ball bounced to Md Eshan, who comfortably headed the ball into the net.
Md Eshan then turned provider in the 80th minute by squaring the ball for Kurmin Awg Hj Bini, who completely missed it, but Md Azmi Hj Zainin was only too happy to take the chance and scored Kilanas' sixth goal of the night.
The other BPL II match of the night saw Muara Vella triumphed 5-1 over DST Group FC at the Berakas Sports Complex.
Sulaiman Ahad scored a brace, while Md Saidy Abd Rahman, Rosmi Merali and Abd Azim Zainal also got on the scoresheet with a goal each.
Md Fakhri Ismail scored DST's lone goal in the 34th minute.
